Rhea tweeted about the molestation that happened inside a building in Khar (Mumbai), where she lives.
She wrote, "Luckily, I take martial arts classes and managed to kick him real hard..And screamed so he ran away...But Mumbai is suffocatingly unsafe. (sic)"
Later, Rhea filed an FIR and issued a statement saying, " I would like to thank everyone for their support and encouraging words I have tweeted about this unfortunate incident only to highlight the dismal reality and ask all women to be more aware. The police are doing their job and I am confident they will get to the bottom of this matter."
With a series of tweets and responses, the actor discussed the incident and lamented the situation of women's safety in Mumbai.
