The men, who shot at a transporter near Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) complex in Vashi, were caught by the APMC police late night on June 25. Business rivalry led to the attack, said the police.

Sunil Bohite, 35, was shot near the APMC market bus stop around 10.30pm on Saturday. Bohite, rushed to the civic hospital in Vashi, escaped with minor injuries.

Based on the information provided by Bohite, the police arrested Suraj Bhushanvar, owner of Shiv Chaya Transport and his accomplice Pratik Shivpuje. "We have arrested four people in the case. Bhushanvar tried to kill Bohite as they were competitors," said assistant commissioner of police Shaikh Mujeeb.
