"Rajya Sabha member Birender Singh is a senior party leader. I will not comment on his Jind rally," said Congress MP Deepender Hooda, while addressing mediapersons here on Friday.

He was here to take part in the 20th death anniversary function of Baldev Singh Sura, father of Rajinder Sura, president, Hisar zila parishad, at Bugana village, near here.

Hooda said: "Haryana is excelling in per capita income, sports achievements and grain production. In view of all this, the prime minister has sanctioned two airports for the state. Though the airport in Hisar would begin as a domestic airport, later it will be developed as an international one. We are in search of land between Hansi and Meham for Cargo Airport. These airports would help the state usher in new era of prosperity and progress."

In reply to a question about ventilators of Hisar civil hospital, he said the ventilators would soon be installed in Hisar and the required staff would also be provided.

He said: "Though the people in Haryana are facing hardships due to ban on mining for stone crushing but the government has to wait for the decision of the judiciary in this regard."
