As the police failed to find any clues about the unidentified miscreant who hit union minister Kumari Selja with a stone, the railway police announced a cash reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone who provides information on the miscreant, on Saturday.

The member of Parliament (MP) was hit with a stone after she was travelling from Kalka to Chandigarh while inaugurating the Kalka-Sainagar train on October 6. The stone had hit her left arm.

Kalka general railway police station house officer (SHO), inspector Balkaar Singh, said, "The railways superintendant of police (SP) Ashok Kumar has announced the award. The identity of the person who would give information about the stone pelter would be kept secret."

Selja was hit at Manakpur station in Pinjore. The police had questioned people in this regard but no result came out.
