RSC tribute to eight Indian scientists

MP COUNCIL of Science and Technology (MPCST) director general Dr Mahesh Sharma will inaugurate half bust statues of eight world famous Indian scientists at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) on November 16 at 11 am.

MP COUNCIL of Science and Technology (MPCST) director general Dr Mahesh Sharma will inaugurate half bust statues of eight world famous Indian scientists at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) on November 16 at 11 am.

Dr N Ramakrishnan, Director of Regional Research Laboratory, will preside over the function. They will pay homage to great scientists including JC Bose, SN Ramanujam, CV Raman, Bibal Sahani, MN Saha, SN Bose, HJ Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai and speak about their lives and achievements.

The National Council of Science Museums has developed a travelling exhibition titled ‘A Concept of Physics’ to generate excitement in  physics and inspire budding scientists.

The exhibition after traversing through Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Goa has now arrived at the State Capital.
