A misunderstanding over a word in the song of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Billu created a ruckus at Gaiety cinema in Bandra on Friday afternoon.

Over 25 youth tore posters and stopped the audience from going into the theatre. The controversy was over the song Rab ke huzur mein...The protestors misunderstood the song as Rab ke huzur nein' nibahi, pyar ki aauni-paauni kasme nibhai. This line implies that God's messenger (Mohammed) made the promise of love. Prophet is referred as huzur by Muslims.

The theatre management later played the song before priests, who cleared the song.

In another incident, unknown persons threw a kerosene bottle in front of Shah Rukh Khan’s bunglow, Jannat, early Friday morning. No arrest has been made so far, said the police.
