A Russian couple was killed after jumping from a speeding train in Madhya Pradesh following a quarrel, the police in Bhopal said on Tuesday.

Vadin, 26, and Maria, 22, leapt off the Mangla Express between Bhopal and Sukhi Sevania.

"The woman jumped from the train followed by the man," a railway official said quoting eyewitnesses.

"The bodies were badly mutilated," he said.
