SAD to go for hi-tech campaign during LS Poll

The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) does not want to keep any stone unturned to reach the voters and for the purpose it has decided to adopt every modern communication mean to go hi-tech during the poll campaign in the ensuing parliamentary election.

Be it SMS, E-Mail or the special postal service, SAD is all set to use every modern communication technique to reach the voters, an elderly Akali and Incharge of SAD's Central Election Office Kirpal Singh Badungar told PTI.

"We have already instructed all Akali workers, who are expert in Information & Technology field to voluntarily participate in the campaign and accordingly a team will be finalized for IT campaign", Badungar added.

Former Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) chief said that Central Election Office would monitor campaigning in all over state and even make programme of all star campaigners of the party.

Right from distributing of election material to the monitoring of feed back from voters, everything would be monitored from the Office, which is equipped with all latest IT gadgets, he added.
