Revealing that the process of finalising the poll manifesto of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) was on, General Secretary of the party and Chairman of the SAD's Manifesto Committee, SS Dhindsa on Wednesday said that the party's poll document would be released by April 15.

"We have asked suggestions from every section of the society including industrialists, farmers, employees and youth, so that their expectations from the union government could be incorporated in the poll document", Dhindsa told reporters here adding that some of the suggestions had already been received by him and accordingly the poll document was being given a final shape.

Asked whether the SAD and BJP, ruling alliance partners, would release a joint poll manifesto, Dhindsa denied the same and said there would be separate poll documents of both the party and later on a Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of NDA would be chalked out.

Regarding the issues to be raised in the poll campaign, the former union minister said that the achievements of the state government and failures of the union government on all fronts including terrorism, inflation, economic recession would be the main poll planks of SAD.
