An official spokesman said that Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured.

The state government has also sought a report of the entire incident from the district administration.

Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has termed the incident as "unfortunate" and said that those responsible will not be spared.

The government also announced Rs 10 lakh for the next of kin of those killed in the IAF helicopter crash in Sitapur district.
