Leggy Lass Katrina Kaif, better known as brat Salman Khan's girlfriend, believes there's no end to gossip mills. She gives her take on lover Salman's recent scandals and life as a struggling actress. Check out the details.
Do you believe that your association with Salman Khan and his misdemeanor has had any negative impact on your career?
Till now, I have not experienced anything like that in the film industry. No one has offered me or refused me films on the basis of Salman's wrongdoings. I find the industry more professional and directors very supportive especially to an actress like me who is not from Bollywood.
Your Hindi accent is not very impressive. Do you face problems with the same?
My Hindi has improved tremendously but still my voice gets dubbed! I don't have any issues with this because I accept the fact that I can't speak Hindi so well. Let alone me, I have seen actresses who can speak the language but still their voice gets dubbed.
What do you expect from Bollywood - money or recognition?
Doing films is a good way to earn money but I prefer to earn praise than to compromise for money. For doing a classic role, I don't bother about the kind of money I am being paid.
Do rumours upset you?
No, because I know whether I like it or not it, gossip mills will go on. They are unstoppable. I don't want to lose my way with talks of my relation and various other rumours. I just want to stay focused and continue working. So I don't get much bogged down by gossips.
