Sanjay Joshi to visit Verma?s family

THE BJP national general secretary (organisation) Sanjay Joshi arrived here on Monday evening to visit the family of late MLA Kishorilal Verma who was murdered a few days back at Omkareshwar. Verma’s wife was also murdered by the killer.

Sanjay Joshi received by the State BJP general secretary Anil Dave and newly appointed district BJP, Bhopal unit president Alok Sanjar among others at the railway station reached the State BJP office where he had a meeting with the State BJP organising general secretary Kaptan Singh Solanki, Dave and Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare Jagdeesh Devda.

Party sources said Joshi apprised himself of the circumstances under which Verma was killed and had a discussion with the leaders on the party’s prospects in Vidisha and Bada Malehra by-polls. Sanjay Joshi accompanied by Solanki will leave for Khandwa on Tuesday morning to visit Verma’s family. He will fly to Delhi from Indore in the evening by a regular flight.

Earlier, State BJP held a condolence meeting over the demise of Verma, late on Monday afternoon at the State BJP office. Those who paid condolences to the departed soul included Member of Parliament Kailash Joshi, Kaptan Singh Solanki, Anil Dave, Giriraj Kishore, Vijesh Lunawat, Alok Sanjar, Ramesh Sharma, VC Naik and others.
