Som Dutt, the younger brother of Sanjay's late father Sunil Dutt, expressed relief at his nephew's acquittal of terrorism charges under the TADA act as well as the charge of conspiring to carry out the blasts.

On the actor's conviction under the Arms Act, Dutt said the family would file an appeal in consultation with lawyers.
Dutt said he had last talked to Sanjay about two months ago.
