Union Minister and Congress candidate from Guna Lok Sabha seat Jyotiraditya Scindia in Shivpuri on Tuesday termed the rejection of Congress candidate's nomination from Vidisha seat as unfortunate advocating a probe at the party level on the issue.
"I will discuss the matter at the party level and insist on a thorough probe on the issue so that people will come to know how such a thing has happened," Scindia told reporters when asked about rejection of Congress candidate Rajkumar Patel's nomination.
When asked about the BJP's return to power in Madhya Pradesh, he said that it was not due to the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's achievement, but because of Congress Party's weakness.
To a question he said that how can industrialisation of the state will take place when industrialists themselves were kidnapped during the investors meet.
On the issue of bickering away of UPA allies, he said that pre-poll and post-poll situations are different and exuded confidence that after the results UPA's partners will come together to form the government at the Centre.
In the current scenario BJP's number of seats will not increase, he said adding that infact it will further reduce.
