The Second Annual Pushkar International Balloon Festival was on Monday kicked-off amid much fanfare with participants from ten countries showcasing their ballooning skills.
Large colourful hot air balloons with beautiful motifs presented a spectacular view to the tourists and participants alike during the early hours of dawn.
The festival will continue till November 9.
"Fifteen balloons have been included in this year's festival. Pilots and technical officials of ten countries will participate including India, the UK, France, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, Netherlands and Czech Republic," CEO of Sky Waltz, Samit Garg said.
The balloon flight of approximately two hours duration each will take place twice daily at 5.30am and 4pm respectively, Garg said.
The success of the event, however, depends on favourable weather conditions, he added.
