Sensex ends higher by 124 points

The BSE 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) closed 124.32 points higher at 10,741.591 points on Thursday.
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, ended sharply higher by over 124 points on Thursday on buying by foreign as well as domestic funds in blue-chip stocks, triggered by firming Asian markets.
The BSE 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) closed 124.32 points higher at 10,741.591 points after touching a high of 10,762.67 points earlier in the day.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty shot up by 46.00 points at 3,156.15 points. Though, it scaled to intra-day high of 3,167.10 points.
