Servant tied to motorcycle, dragged on road in MP

A man was allegedly dragged on the road for an hour after being tied to a motorcycle by his employer who suspected him of stealing, police said today.

A man was allegedly dragged on the road for an hour after being tied to a motorcycle by his employer who suspected him of stealing, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday when a grain merchant along with his associate pulled-up their servant on the suspicion of stealing a five kg weight, used to weigh grains in their shop, police said.

Later, the trader Chotu Seth and his associate Madan Pandit tied the servant, Jagdish Sahu with a rope to a motorcycle and went on to drag him for nearly one hour on the roads, police said.

Following a complaint in this regard, police arrested both Seth and Pandit by seizing the motorcycle and the rope used by them for the act.

The victim, Sahu was admitted to a hospital, police added.
