After the failure of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, director Shaad Ali reportedly filed for divorce from his wife Shahzneen. Now, the buzz is that the director is having a tough time with his mentor Aditya Chopra.

Sources close to the Yashraj camp say that Shaad Ali has been trying to meet Chopra to narrate ideas for his next project. But Chopra isn’t showing any interest in sparing him any time.

Source says, “Shaad claims to have three ideas. He needs an approval from Aditya on one of the scripts so that he can start developing it. But Aditya is very unhappy with the way he handled Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.”

The source explains that after Shaad’s success with Bunty aur Babli, Chopra was confident about his capabilities as a director.

“Adi is known for his interference. After helping to set up Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and seeing it take off well, he kept himself away from it. Since the film didn’t do too well at the box-office, Adi is upset,”said the source.

Now, Chopra is leaving nothing to chance..especially after the not so- happening response to both – Ta Ra Rum Pum and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

Our source continued, “Adi is involved in every minute detail of the next three movies – Chak De India, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle.”

He is also looking into the scripting of the two soon-to-goon- the-floors movies, directed by Kunal Kohli and Siddharth Raaj Anand.
