Shabir welcomes revival of Indo-Pak dialogue

Welcoming the revival of dialogue between India and Pakistan, the J-K minister of state for power and transport Shabir Ahmed Khan has said that people of the state have suffered tremendously and resumption of dialogue has rekindled the hope of peace.

Welcoming the revival of dialogue between India and Pakistan, the J-K minister of state for power and transport Shabir Ahmed Khan has said that people of the state have suffered tremendously and resumption of dialogue has rekindled the hope of peace.

"We welcome revival of dialogue between India and Pakistan. People of state have suffered a lot and resumption of dialogue has rekindled the hope of peace returning to the subcontinent", he said while addressing a public rally at Surankote in Poonch district on Monday.

He said that cordial relations between the neighbours has come as a sigh of relief to the people living across LoC.

Stressing on the allround and composite development of all regions, Khan announced that the present coalition would initiate development activities equitably in all the districts of the state.

The minister said the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch will be brought on the development map and special schemes will be implemented in these districts keeping in view the special needs of the people in Jammu.
