For this  1989 postgraduate from Avadh Girls' Degree college, life's all about how you take it.Having been there and done that, Sameera Sahni who comes from a renowned Army family began right at the bottom-as a waitress at a pizza parlour in Delhi at the age of 16! Today, she's handled advertising contracts and huge projects like Kaun Banega Crorepati, Jeeto Chappar Phar Ke, UP Tourism Department's projects including Lucknow Mahotsava and '350 years of Taj celebrations'… And, she asserts, she's still learning.

She's worked with all the major advertising agencies in India and has her own set-up 'Arman' launched with her friend Siddhartha Anant. It's already quite a success.

"Arman simply signifies dreams, passion and love that has no end," she says, adding that, "Having handled big projects today, we are proud to be the official agency for several government and non-government firms. It's all about the goodwill you earn over the years."

Incidentally, the unemployment allowance invitation card (issued by the Mulayam Singh Government)  has also been designed by her.

But that's not all. From managing events to providing counselling to her students and reading the tarot, she's also into Chinese art! "It's all about spirituality and your sixth sense," she says, adding that, "I firmly believe in the occult." As regards her fascination for the paranormal and supernatural things s he says, "I feel, I posses some extra sensory perception that I use while I interpret anything like reading the tarot." The thing that was started for fun is now more than a pastime for her. "I love reading and am curious to learn more and more new things. This may be the reason for my success at these things." This English Literature post-graduate also loves theatre! Having worked with Expressions Theatre, she feels it gives her some creative satisfaction. Her list of famous plays in which she has acted include 'Funny Money', 'Who's wife is it anyway' and she was co-associated with 'Red Lamp'.

An artist by nature she finds life's motifs in the Ramayana. "My personality is entirely the blend of my beliefs and experiences". Never afraid of trying in personal as well as professional life, Sameera even dreams today "Life is vast and there are no limits. Everyone should dream as without it, we cannot set high standards for ourselves!"

Samera feels that she is everything- an entrepreneur, mother, teacher, artist, daughter, friend and above all a good human being.

Truly for her 'it's a woman's world'.
