Amin and Bashir were struck by a mortar shell.

“After we heard the news of sarpanch’s death, I rushed to the spot to inquire about his well being around 2 pm. Suddenly, a mortar shell fell with a thud and I became unconscious. I regained conscious in the chopper, while I was shifted to Jammu hospital”, said Amin.

Bashir suffered critical injuries in right leg and in his neck.

Bashir urged both India and Pakistan to solve the issue peacefully and desist from bloodshed. He informed that such heavy intensity of shelling has taken place after a long time.
