Reality TV star Jade Goody, on a goodwill visit to India, is getting hate calls from a London-based Sri Lankan who is angry that the British celebrity is being accommodated in the subcontinent despite her alleged racist slurs.
The UK-based Sri Lankan, who identifies herself as Prasantika, has been frantically calling up the five-star hotel in Delhi where Goody is staying, infuriated that she was being allowed to stay there.
Hotel sources said the caller wanted Goody to be thrown out of the hotel as she had made racist comments against people in the region when she took on Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty on the UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother.
The 25-year-old, who arrived in India on Monday on a four-day visit, had to face angry protests yesterday when she went out on a charity mission in the Indian capital.
Angry residents of a South-west Delhi area where she visited a children's home, had gheraoed her car, banged against its windows and shouted sloans against her.
Goody had yesterday donated $50,000 (approx. Rs 22.5 lakh), part of the money she earned on the Big Brother show, to a local NGO.
