Ms Shilpa Shetty is getting her hair coloured in a Mumbai salon.. and I'm wondering..
What's the new colour going to be?
Nothing exciting to write about. (Laughs) Just the normal routine thing.
What's keeping you busy now-a-days?
Right now.. my musical which will be in the league of Bollywood Dreams. It's like a film translated on stage. There's Anusha Dhandekar and me. It's full of dances, Ganesh Hegde is the choreographer.
I am also working on my yoga DVD.. I shot for it for three days a week in Kerala. It's the first from my home production. Yoga is my new mantra to remain emotionally and physically strong.
Do you ever look back at your Baazigar days?
I still feel like a newcomer even though I've done it all - romance, sobbing, action. I love watching my early films. Some scenes make me cringe, "What was I thinking of ?"
Does if feel any different to be an international celebrity?
Of course, it does. I'm being talked about globally now. Personally, my priorities are the same. But socially, I have a bigger platform. A lot is being written about me.. all sorts of stuff...but when you're a celebrity, you shouldn't turn defensive or complain.
From an expert at fashion faux pas you've become a fashion icon of sorts.. do you agree?
I've always been sporting about criticism..that can only make me improve. Whether I made faux pas or not, I've always dressed the way I've wanted to. If I'm considered a fashion icon, I take that as a compliment.
What kind of a man do you dream about?
Someone who can keep me happy. I guess God knows that I'm a little busy, so he is not troubling me about men right now. The day the man arrives, I'll make the announcement.
