While the divorce certificate and the agreement which Shoaib signed with the Hyderabadi girl Ayesha Siddiqui on April 7, shows his father's name to be Malik Saleem Hussain, while the wedding invitation card has his father's name as Malik Faqeer Hussain.

According to police, the passport of Shoaib, which was taken by them during his questioning following the complaint by Ayesha, also carries the two names of his father.

"His (Shoaib) father's name has been given as Malik Faqeer Hussain alias Malik Saleem Hussain and both the names are of the same person," the police officer said.

Congress leader Abid Rasool Khan, who brokered peace between the Shoaib and the Siddiquis, said the Siddiquis have not objected on the matter as yet.

"Siddiquis do not have any objections on the different name issue," he said.
