Indian shooters Vijay Kumar and Gurpreet Singh bagged the first gold medal of the day on Thursday after winning the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol (pairs) event.
This is India's 12th gold medal of the Commonwealth Games. Malaysia got the silver and Australia got the bronze.
Earlier, India started the day with a bronze medal when the women's team of Bhagyabati Chanu, Jhano Handah and Gagandeep Kaur compound archery team beat Malaysia.
India is looking up to Lajjakumari Gauswami and world champion Tejaswini Sawant (50m Singles Rifle 3 Position-women), Vijay Kumar and Gurpreet Singh (25m Rapid Fire Pistol-men) and Asher Noria and Ronjan
