The Siamese twins, who were separated after a surgery at the government general hospital here earlier in the week, have passed away, sources said.
While one baby died last night, the other breathed his last today, they said.
The twins, both males and born on Wednesday, were joined at the abdomen and had a common lever. One of the twins had no anus and the alimentary canal was incompletely formed, the sources said.
The twins were separated after a four-hour surgery on Thursday.
Parents refused to take bodies of the twins to the burial ground alleging that the separation was hasty.
