JMM Chief Sibu Soren was on Thursday once again hospitalized in Bokaro general hospital after he complained of breathlessness and weakness. Soren was rushed to the hospital in the evening.
Earlier in the day, while his fate was being decided in the Dumka Parliamentary seat and the Jamtara assembly seat, he chose to remain indoors at Boakro residence mainly due to illness.
A close associate of Soren and joint secretary of the JMM central committee Santosh Rajwar said that Guruji has not even voted this time. "Due to his prevailing health Guruji could not muster the courage to go to the poll booth," said Santsoh Rajwar.
Notably, Sibu Soren and his wife Rupi Soren names were listed in booth number 278, which was located in St Xavier's School of Bokaro city. Even though the booth is located merely 100 meters away from his residence the JMM leader did not came out to vote.
Sambu, who is also close to Soren, had informed in the morning that Sibu might well vote at around 10 am. He was also seen roaming about with the voter's cards containing Soren's and Rupi's name. However, all of a sudden he informed that Guruji has taken medicine and gone to sleep. He said that he would come out only at around 6 pm.
Soren remained aloof from the public in the day. He also did not visit his garden, which he is so fond of. His house also wore a deserted look, as party workers were busy performing their roles in the polling booths.
