MODERN MEDICAL methodologies prevent only symptoms and do not stem the real cause of disease, said Swami Suryendu Puri of the Shabd Surti Sangam Ashram, Punjab.

He was speaking at the inaugural function of the three-day free Siddhamrit surya kriya yoga camp at Khalsa Stadium on Friday.

Ayurved believes death to be the cause of all diseases and spiritualism agrees with this premise. Therefore, it is considered the progenitor of all knowledge and sciences, the seer said.

It has become evident that despite technological advancements, science is still unable to cure several diseases. With each scientific evolution in technology, nature also presents new challenges and mutated viruses.

In such a scenario, Yoga and its various forms like nature therapy, reiki, accupressure, suzok, pranayam etc have gained recognition all around the globe and siddhamrit surya kriya yoga forms a part of this whole.

About 30,000 persons have gained health benefits from practicing this method in the past three years. The Sun’s beneficial rays, which provide energy to all living forms, is absorbed while practicing certain yogic asans early in the morning.
Avnish Motiwale and Devendra Singh Chauhan said the programme is open for all and would be held in two sessions. The morning batch would be held from 7 am to 8.30 am and the evening batch from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.
