Singapore-Delhi flight makes emergency landing

The snag was repaired by Indian (Airlines) engineers and the Airbus-320 took off for Delhi after a two-hour halt.

An Indian flight from Singapore to Delhi made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik airport in Bhubaneswar after developing a technical snag.

Airport Director Sanjay Jain said that flight number 860 with 150 passengers on board landed safely on Saturday afternoon after contacting the airport control.

The snag was repaired by Indian (Airlines) engineers and the Airbus-320 took off for Delhi after a two-hour halt, area marketing manager T Raghu Babu said.
