VISHWA HINDU Parishad international president Ashok Singhal on Thursday lashed out at the UPA government at the Centre for being soft in dealing with anti-nationalistic tendencies. He charged that the Central Government had not only failed to restrict the terrorist menace but showed signs of abetting terrorism in the country.
Talking to reporters at the State Health Institute building today, Singhal said the recent developments in some parts indicated the UPA’s ulterior motives.
The trio of Christians, Muslims and communists together has launched a tirade against Hindus to impose cultural supremacy, he charged. He arrived here to take part in a three-day central management committee meeting of VHP starting from July 8.
VHP leader Praveen Togadia said in Guna on Thursday that in the next election VHP would support the party that believe in Hindu ideology and is in a position to win the election. He said VHP might support Congress provided it was ready to part with its policy to appease minority community.
