Six Delhi residents killed in Himachal road accident

Six people from Delhi were killed in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district, police said. HT Correspondent reports.

Six people from Delhi were killed in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district, police said.

The accident occured when an SUV with nine people skidded into a gorge at Dadhol village near Ghumarwin in the district at around 12.20 am on Tuesday, said Kuldeep Sharma, Superintendent of Police (Bilaspur).

He said the victims were on their way to the popular Hindu shrine of Jawalamukhi in Kangra district.

Three injured have been admitted to the Bilaspur district hospital, he said.
