Six held for taxi driver’s murder

The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police arrested six people, including a couple, for allegedly murdering a taxi driver and then stealing his car.

The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police arrested six people, including a couple, for allegedly murdering a taxi driver and then stealing his car.

The police said the killed the victim while returning from a trip to Mussoorie. The police said the gang was apprehended from Sarai Kale Khan recently following a tip-off.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Neeraj Thakur said, "The arrested have been identified as Jaswant (29), his wife Asha (35), Suraj (19), Ashu (19), Rishi Ralhan (29) and Kiran Pal."
The police said Jaswant allegedly hatched the plan to hire a taxi from Delhi and then take it away after killing the driver. HTC
