Six persons were killed and another injured in three different accidents in the district, police said.

Six persons were killed and another injured in three different accidents in the district, police said.

In the first incident, a 35-year-old woman and her son were on Monday killed when a truck coming from the opposite direction collided with their car, killing the Chaitali Pathare (35) and Varun Pathare (13) on the spot, they said.

In the city's Kamatvade road, three youth were killed and one injured last night when their motorcycle dashed with another, police said adding the deceased Yuvraj Gadhave (25), Vinayak Choudhari (2) and Mahesh Sisode (38), were killed on the spot.

The injured was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Nashik, police added.

In the third incident, 20-year-old Ganesh Londhe was killed in a head-on collision between a gas tanker and a milk van at the Nashik-Pune highway, police said.
