Six promoted to chief secretary rank

THE STATE Government on Wednesday promoted six IAS officers of 1973 batch to the rank of chief secretary by giving them the pay-scale of Rs 26,000. The officers promoted to the Chief Secretary rank included Agriculture Production Commissioner Anis Ansari. Other officers are Dr Ashok Kumar-I, Reeta Sinha, Anil Kumar?I, Lalit Srivastava and Preetam Singh.

THE STATE Government on Wednesday promoted six IAS officers of 1973 batch to the rank of chief secretary by giving them the pay-scale of Rs 26,000. The officers promoted to the Chief Secretary rank included Agriculture Production Commissioner Anis Ansari. Other officers are Dr Ashok Kumar-I, Reeta Sinha, Anil Kumar–I, Lalit Srivastava and Preetam Singh.

Meanwhile the IAS officers promoted to principal secretary rank were appointed in various departments. Jai Shankar Mishra, secretary Land Development and Water Development, was appointed principal secretary in the same department.

Ashok Ghosh, secretary, General Administration Department, was appointed principal secretary, Bhasa, Sri Krishna, secretary sports was appointed principal secretary in the same department. VV Singh Vishwen, secretary, Small Scale Industries, was appointed secretary in the same department. Yogesh Kumar secretary, Revenue Department, was appointed principal secretary in the same department.

Uday Pratap Singh, special secretary Excise Department, was appointed special secretary in Housing and Urban Planning Department.

Three PCS Officers were also transferred. Mohammad Shafakat Kamal, ADM, Ghazipur was appointed ADM, Lalitpur, Anil Rajkumar, Additional Commissioner, Meerut was appointed Joint Housing Commissioner, Meerut. Rajendra Kumar Singh who was on waiting list was appointed secretary and Chief Project Officer, NEDA.
