Assam police on Tuesday released a sketch of a suspected bomber involved in one of the explosions last week in the state's main city of Guwahati.
"Based on inputs and descriptions provided by eyewitnesses, a portrait artist made the sketch of a person suspected to be involved in the blast at the chief judicial magistrate's court," Assam police spokesperson Jayashree Khersa told journalists.
"The sketch released by us tallies 77 per cent with the descriptions provided to the artist by the witnesses who volunteered to help us with the investigations. We are now looking for this man," Khersa said.
The sketch is that of a youth with a light beard, a thin moustache and a broad face.
"The suspect is a fair complexioned man aged below 35 years and about 5.7 feet tall with an athletic build weighing about 68 kg," another police official said.
