Slumdog kids prepare for Oscars night

child artistes Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail and Rubina Ali are preparing to attend the big Oscars night on February 22.

"We would be very happy to have the entire team at the awards. We are still in the process to organise the paperwork for the children," a source from production house Fox Searchlight Pictures told


Azharuddin and Rubina, who play young Salim and Latika in the Danny Boyle film, are also excited for the trip, the source said. "Their parents would be accompanying them as well," the source said. Earlier there were some reports that their parents were not keen on sending them to the Oscars and instead demanded money.
