What is Shawarma?
Shawarma is a Middle-Eastern-style wrap made with roasted meat shaved off the skewer. Lamb, goat, chicken and turkey are the popular options. The meat is accompanied with onions, tomato and capsicum on the skewer, where it is rotated for several hours. The meat is then filled in a pita bread or roti, and served with tahini, mayonnaise or mint sauce
If a shawarma with some desi tadka is what you prefer, then this is the place to head to. Established three years ago in Noida, the eatery has become an instant hit with youngsters. Unlike the usual shawarma that’s high on Middle-Eastern spices, here you’ll find more of Punjabi spices like chilli pepper and black pepper, served with mayonnaise and mint sauce. The chicken shawarma is a must try.
