Says Pammy Kaul, owner of Scratch Nail, “Lots of people come to us for nail art these days. And we use all sorts of materials like bindis, Swaroski, lace, wires and even feathers to decorate the nails.”
“I was very apprehensive about an elaborate nail art, so I went for French manicure, I was so satisfied. My hands looked so clean and sophisticated,” says Shruti Jain.
A nail art session can cost anywhere between Rs 500 to 5,000 depending on the material and style one is opting for. Nail extension is an big help for people with brittle nails. Though acrylic extensions are something widely done, experts feel gel extensions give lasting results. Says Shalini Khanna, Nail Studio, “Gel nail extensions are very natural. They’re durable and don’t stop you from doing everyday work.”
