'Come, fall in love....with your brother's bride' goes the punch line of Onir directed
. Shocking as it may sound; it only brought a smile on Chitrangda Singh's face.
"Really, so many people ask me if I was shocked to know about the basic plotline of Sorry Bhai, that of a woman falling for the younger brother of a man whom she loves and is about to get married. I in fact went 'wow'. I was plain amused since this was a situation that I hadn't thought of", laughs Chitrangda Singh who is aware that her comeback to films years after Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi is being widely anticipated.
"In fact on hearing the storyline, I went into this entire thought process of thinking that 'ya, it could all be possible in real life'. After all, if you live with someone for a long time, it becomes like a habit. My character in the film too falls out of love and the falls back into love with the younger. I really found the basic premise really interesting", adds Chitrangda.
"The two people in this character's life are really very different and this is what brings in the spark into her life. While one (Sanjay Suri) is very proper, very disciplined and just doesn't put a foot wrong, the other (Sharman Joshi) is just the opposite. He is a little goofy, isn't quite proper in his conduct and moreover isn't really a meticulous planner. He brings in fun in her life".
Talking about her choice of films, she says, "Finally I am relieved that I am doing a light hearted entertainer after heavy duty films like Hazaron.... and Kal – Yesterday and Tomorrow. This brings in some variety in the kind of work I would love to do."
