SP leader resigns and joins BSP

SP women wing national president Ranjana Bajpai on Saturday resigned from the party and joined the BSP.

Bajpai was declared SP candidate from Sitapur constituency but her ticket was cancelled and given to one Mahendra Verma.

Bajpai, who also held post of chairperson of State women commission in previous SP regime announced her decision to join BSP in presence of BSP state president and cooperative minister Swami Prasad Maurya at a press conference in Lucknow.
