SAMAJWADI PARTY’S Mayoral candidate Vinod Chandra Dubey assured the people that he would regularise the newly developed colonies on state land.

He addressed the voters at Chowk, Attarsuya, Chak Niratul, Allenganj and Newada and visited the Nagar Nigam office to garner support.

He said that the SP-led government had done a lot for backward, employees, students and unemployed youths during its three years’ tenure.

If he was elected, the city would be beautified.

Meanwhile, the Khatri Sabha decided to give unanimous support to the Congress candidate Chaudhry Jitendra Nath Singh for the Mayoral post.

Addressing a meeting of Khatri Sabha, former Mayor Ravi Bhushan Wadhawan appealed to the community to elect Chaudhry as mayor.

National President of Janata Dal (United) Sharad Yadav will arrive here on Wednesday by Prayagraj Express and address several meetings including at Gauhania in support of the party candidates, according to Indra Bahadur Singh, local party leader.
