The Samajwadi Party on Sunday stuck to its position to review support to the UPA government if the Rajya Sabha passed the quota in promotion bill.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav endorsed his father and SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's announcement on reviewing support.

"Netaji (the SP chief) ne kaha hai to theek kaha hai," he said.
The CM added that the strike against the bill by around 1.8 million Uttar Pradesh government employees had the support of the masses.
