SP to deploy top leaders in Rae Bareli

WITH THE election campaign reaching fever pitch in Rae Bareli, the Samajwadi Party has planned to deploy its senior leaders to boost the prospects of party candidate Raj Kumar Chaudhury.

WITH THE election campaign reaching fever pitch in Rae Bareli, the Samajwadi Party has planned to deploy its senior leaders to boost the prospects of party candidate Raj Kumar Chaudhury.

While Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav addressed a public meeting in Rae Bareli on Tuesday, PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav is camping there to mobilise workers. Party MP from Kannauj Akhilesh Singh Yadav, who had launched a cycle rally in the constituency last week, will undertake another cycle rally from Harchandpur to Gurubakhsh Ganj on May 5. General secretary Amar Singh will flag off the rally and Labour Minister Dr Vaqar Shah will attend the concluding function at Gurubakhshganj.

Amar Singh will also address public meetings at Dinshahguara and Bhurkuspur on May 5. Urban Development Minister Mohd Azam Khan is scheduled to address two meetings at Unchahar and Rae Bareli on May 5.
