Soon after Delhi-based IndiGo Airlines introduced new flights on its network, no-frills carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday said it has launched additional daily connections out of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi.

The additional flights will take daily departures on the SpiceJet network to 125, the carrier said in a statement.

"These new connections between key cities will certainly help business travellers as well as all those who are keen to visit friends and families this holiday season," SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Samyukth Sridharan said.

With the new flights, SpiceJet now has six daily flights between Delhi and Mumbai, three daily flights between Delhi and Kolkata, three daily flights between Delhi and Ahmedabad and two daily connections between Delhi and Kochi.
