Sporting, Rajmohalla enter second round

SPORTING XI AND Rajmohalla won their respective matches in the All India God Cup football tournament played in memory of Ramesh Chandra Sharma organized by Central Gymkhana club played at Christian College grounds on Monday.

Sporting Union beat DFA Jhansi by 2-0 and in the second match Rajmohalla beat Young Brothers Badwani by 2-1 to sail in to second round.

Indore rout Bilaspur
INDORE DIVISION routed Bilaspur division by an innings and 109 runs to sail in to last four in the U-17 MM Jagdale cricket tournament and would meet Gwalior division at Gwalior from January 17-19.

Indore Division I innings 466, Bilaspur I innings 145. Niokhil took 6/36 and A Panwar 2/16 Bilaspur II innings 212. Sebu Desoza 100, Abhimanyu Mishra 70. Akshay Gautam and Ajay Parihar took four and three wickets and helped their team to win by an innings 109 runs.

Track suits distributed
INDORE DIVISION distributed track suits to Indore Division U-15 players for lifting coveted A W Kanmadikar Trophy. Sharada Khasliwal was the chief guest and distributed the track suits to the players and manager, coach. IDCA president Shravan Gupta, secretary Kanwaljeet Khanuja were present during the occasion. The track suits were sponsored by Pumarth Credit and Capital Ltd.

NPS student excels
SHACHI REGE of the National Public School won the singles title in the national CBSE inter-school badminton tournament held at Amristar from January 11-15. Shachi did well in individual and also helped her team win the team event along with Apoorva Pathak.

Shanwaj in State team
SHANWAJ, PRASHANT and Hina Khan of Brothers Club have been selected in Madhya Pradesh volleyball team that will take part in the national junior volleyball championship in Andhra Pradesh. The team has been selected on the basis of their performance in the recently concluded state-level junior championship.

Annie Besant champs
ANNIE BESANT School won the inter-school kho-kho tournament organised by Chatrapati Shivaji School. In the semifinals, Annie Besant defeated Balvinay Mandir and in the final they defeated Chatrapati Shivaji School to bag the title. School director P K Yadav and principal Sangeeta Sood have congratulated their students for bringing laurels to the school.
