Delhi Public School Ghaziabad (Meerut Road) was reportedly the first school in the national capital region to get an ISO 9001:2000 certification and has established a niche for itself by providing quality education over the years.
The school has interactive programmes with teachers and students of institutes in countries such as Singapore, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.
The school is also a member of the Face to Faith programme run by the Tony Blair Foundation and part of the India project of the British Council in UK.
“With the changing times, we have been changing as well towards (providing) the global advantage to our students,” said school principal Rita Kapoor.
“We follow ‘dimensions of learning’ and ‘life skills’ modules which are integrated with branded educational software,” she added.
The school provides laptops to each teacher, and every classroom has an interactive board with an LCD projector.
The school has an e-library that connects students and staff to several libraries in the world.
Besides doing well in academics, the school’s students successfully compete in national and International-level sporting events.
