BHOPAL CITY Link Limited (BCLL) will start its first bus to rural areas adjoining the State Capital from January 1. The first bus will be started from Barkheda Pathani to Phanda Kalan. At present, this bus is being run until Bairagarh.
Minister for Commerce and Industries Babulal Gaur on Sunday took a test ride of this bus on route number-2.
This bus on Sunday started from 74 bungalows and reached Phanda Kalan after passing through Royal Market, Bairagarh, Kolukhedi and Khajuri Sadak.
On the occasion, Gaur said people had been demanding that star buses be run on new routes. He added, star buses would soon be started for 20 villages around the State Capital.
During this test ride, Gaur was welcomed at several places including Bairagarh Naka, Bhainsakhedi, Kolukhedi, Khajuri and Fanda.
Bhopal City Link Limited director Jitendra Tiwari said buses on route number two would be run from Vijay Market, BHEL Market, Govindpura, Anna Nagar, Chetak Bridge, MP Nagar, Vallabh Bhawan, New Vidhan Sabha, Birla Mandir, Roshanpura, Rang Mahal, Polytechnic, Kilol Park, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil, Hamidia Hospital, Royal Market, SBI Square, Koh-e-Fiza, Lalghati, Vijay Nagar, Halalpura, Bairagarh Bus Stand, Bairagarh Station, Bairagarh Naka, Kolukhedi, Bhainsakhedi and Fanda Kala.
