Student, neighbours clash

A STUDENT of Pioneer College living in a rented accommodation in Mahlaxmi Nagar had a spat with his neighbours resulting in a major scuffle leading to the police lodging cross complaints in the matter on Saturday night.

According to Lasudia police, Akash Mishra from Satna who is currently pursuing MBA from the said college lives in a rented accommodation in Mahalaxmi Nagar. At about 11.45 pm he had a quarrel over a petty matter with his neighbouring youths D Satyanarayan and Bhairon Singh Malviya with whom he had long standing differences.

The youths nursing a grudge against Mishra wasted no time in bringing the squabble to a clash and used clubs and iron rods to settle core leading to injuries on both sides.

Some alert neighbours reported the matter to the police and the police on reaching the spot saturated both parties. A cross complaint has been filed by both sides. Word spread that some disturbance had also occurred at the college after this incident but was denied by the college authorities and police.
