Gurgaon police have arrested four teenagers, including three engineering college students, who allegedly robbed a couple of their car, ATM cards, mobile phones and other belongings using an air pistol three days ago. The first crime of their lives, the four young men committed the act to pay off a Rs 50,000 loan they took from one of their friends, the police said.

Crime branch inspector Naresh Kumar said the incident occurred on the evening of April 25 when a couple from Sector 56 had come to Leisure Valley park in Sector 29 in their Maruti Swift.

“Nishant Kumar, Amit Kumar, Manish Kumar — first year B Tech students of a Gurgaon engineering college — and Sandeep Kumar, who had appeared for his BA final exam in Rohtak, snatched their car, ATM cards, mobile phones and other belongings. They also forced the couple to reveal the password of one of the ATM cards and withdrew Rs 40,000," Naresh Kumar said.
