The health of external affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is admitted at AIIMS following chest congestion and arthritis problems, is improving and she will be discharged soon, hospital authorities said on Monday.
“Swaraj’s condition is constantly improving and there is nothing to worry. She will be released soon but we can’t say exactly when,” said Amit Gupta, AIIMS spokesperson
Asked if Swaraj developed any problems during treatment, Gupta said: “Nothing major. She is already a cardiac patient, so there is fluctuation in her health condition. But she is stable now.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited her to enquire about her health.
